The Sheikhs

The Sheikhs formed 1996 in Darwin NT, and have released 5 albums, all available on Bandcamp and limited release via streaming. The latest is 21st Century Mammoth (2024).
The Sheikhs are a rock trio (guitar, bass drums) and happily lean into ambient folk, mathrock, prog, avant garde, jazz, minimalism, serialism, etc. when musically effective.
The Sheikhs have supported international acts such as Fugazi, national acts such as Regurgitator, Silverchair.
