Cosmic Cowboy and The Incognitos

In November 2024, Brisbane multi-instrumentalist Greg Eales created a musical experience that was intended to be a one-night stand, it was the launch of his solo EP, Songs. Greg used a few of his recording studio friends to bring the music to life on stage under the moniker Cosmic Cowboy and The Incognitos.

Greg Eales, is the jocular irreverent Cosmic Cowboy in an Elvis Presley style suit resplendent with sequins. rhinestones and tassels that he found in an Op shop. Eales fronts The Incognitos: a collective of 5 brilliant musically gifted misfits playing guitars, bass, drums, violin and keys with the occasional cameo from a local identity or two playing theremin or saxophone. The lineup features people from bands such as Died Pretty, Superfry’d, and The Daisy Rifles. They don’t seek awards or accolades, they just love to play and pull the audience into their vortex.
