Rollo was a passionate musician and renowned within the Australian independent music scene, releasing albums through his Splurt label and working on community television and radio for almost three decades. As a concert promoter, he helped launch the careers of many Brisbane acts.
Rollo was posthumously honoured with the 2020 Queensland Music Awards’ Grant Mclennan Lifetime Achievement Award.
