Welcome to Protis Reviews. My name is Alan, and for an hour each week I will be showcasing the hottest releases from local artists in the Brisbane music scene, as well as those from interstate and overseas. I have been writing reviews of studio releases, be they singles or EPs, since June of 2024. I started reviewing live performances in September of 2024, and have been enjoying these immensely! My aim for this show is to see how it works in a radio format.
Stjep (pronounced “St-chyep”) is an energetic five-piece Brisbane-based band who specialise in fun and diverse Australian rock music. The group released their EP entitled “GABAGOOLl” on the 31st of July, in both physical and digital forms! This body of work will be launched at The Junk Bar in New Farm on Friday the 7th of August, and three of the band members join Alan for a chat about these recent milestones.
