Rando guarantee! LA-based Swiss-Ecuadorian sibling duo, have announced their new album, Los Ojos Del Cóndor, set for release on September 25. "That melody you hear in the chorus, that's very happy, and then it turns back into the dark, low tones of the slide," said Alejandro. "It's cool because that's actually how the weather works in the Andes. You've got sunshine and then all of a sudden it's so cloudy and looks like it might rain or even snow. 'Canto Andino' is a calling from that landscape that inspired us." The term "Canto Andino" used in the context of music and culture associated with the Andean region of South America.

Rando guarantee! Alice Springs-based songwriter Charlie Ivan announces his new album Of Nothing, due Friday 7 August. Of Nothing began taking shape years earlier while Ivan was living in Warburton Community on the Ngaanyatjarra Lands in Western Australia. Having grown up playing piano but primarily writing on guitar, Ivan found himself returning to the instrument during long stretches of solitude in the Western Desert. Ivan explains, "I bought a piano when I moved out there and started writing on it, which was something I'd not really ever done before."
