Zed excluZZZive! NT/Naarm project of Kyle Glover. LP 'The Main One' heavily influenced by Glover’s time spent living remote. The natural landscape; sounds of the bush; the long drives; the often wavering headspace; and the people encountered along the way.
Zed excluZZZive! Naarm/Melb released debut album 'Breathe' - built from a wide emotional and sonic spectrum. ‘Breathe’ moves between vulnerability and release, never forcing a single concept or aesthetic. Instead, the record plays like a series of snapshots, each song capturing a different headspace, from anxiety and grief through to escapism, comfort, and defiant joy. The focus track on this record is 'Blue Balloon'. Sparked by a family trip to Fiji and a photo of Jordan’s son holding a balloon. The song reflects on childhood possibilities and the boundaries that can limit it, drawing on the Filipino street game patintero as a metaphor for the lines society and family can draw around young lives.
