Megaherzzz is 4ZZZ’s women’s and feminist show. Megaherzzz features news, opinions, and interviews, as well as music from local, Australian and overseas artists.
We are an intersectional feminist program and amplify various marginalised communities, such as: First Nations women, women of colour, disabled women, working women, criminalised women, the LGBTIQ+ community, and sex workers, with a focus on intersections of these communities.

Tana Douglas: world's first female roadie
ellen has the good fortune of speaking with Tana Douglas, an Australian woman who holds the title of the world's first female roadie. Tana started life in Brisbane, now lives in L.A. and has toured the world with Susie Quattro, The Who, Iggy Pop, Neil Diamond, The Runaways and many others after aiding the rise of AC/DC in Melbourne. Her first book LOUD has just been released and is a thrilling memoir of her wild life (so far). In her honour, the first few tracks are a selection of Tana's favourites.
The MARCH 4 JUSTICE (against parliamentary and institutional sexism) is occuring at the same time as today's broadcast, and speeches will be played on next week's show.
