Garage heroines Marville eagerly await the launch of their debut effort, Vayan Con Dios. Recorded over a number of years in various garages and venues about Brisbane, the record is a culmination of much hard work. "I feel like this record has been baking for so long... It's very exciting to be able to finally let it go out on its own. Quite a relief actually!" says singer/guitarist Ash Kerley. To celebrate its release, the band will be holding a launch party at the Beetle Bar, 350 Upper Roma St, on Friday November 1. Support will come in the form of El Motel, You In Reverse and The Steady As She Goes. Spinning tracks between bands will be DJ Wolvie Trash. Entry $10, doors 8pm.
